Joan L. Bennett

Joan Leona Bennett, 78, of Damascus, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. She was predeceased by her husband Hobart Bennett in 1986.

Born on May 3, 1945, in Maryland she was the daughter of the late Willie and Robert Sier.

Joan worked at McDonald's in Mt. Airy for over 20 years prior to her retirement in 2018. She enjoyed playing bingo, the slot machines at Charles Town, and watching football. Above all else, she loved spending time with her loving family and her dog, Baby. Joan will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by son, Hobart L. Bennett, and wife Suzanne, and grandson, Michael Bennett and fiancé, Jennifer Stem.
