Jo Ellen Gluscevich

Jo Ellen Gluscevich, 76, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Born on July 12, 1948, in Boonsboro, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roland Adams and Winifred Long (Wilhide) Adams.

Jo was a graduate of Frederick High School class of 1966, she earned her AA degree at Montgomery College.

Jo worked as a substitute teacher, a writer for the Frederick News Post, but most importantly she was a homemaker for her loving family

She enjoyed writing, playing piano, and cross stitching. She also wrote a book called “My Sentimental Journey” about growing up in Frederick in the 50s and 60s. 

She is survived by her husband, Lincoln Gluscevich, daughter Julie Gluscevich, and grandchildren Owen and Teagan Gluscevich. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Justin Gluscevich, her siblings; Sherry Shriner, Carol Gladhill, and Doug Adams.

A celebration of Jo Ellen's life journey will take place at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1415 W. 7th Street, Frederick, MD 21702 on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
