Jo Ann Nicholson

Jo Ann Nicholson of Monrovia, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Born on September 2, 1948, JoAnn was the wife of the late Franklin “Frank” Delanor Nicholson and daughter of the late Hazel Lona Dove, and James Addison Frazier.

Jo Ann retired as a paraprofessional from Quince Orchard High School. Throughout her life Jo Ann enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, shopping, and her cat Lola. Jo Ann made the world’s best potato salad and always made too much food for every occasion.

Jo Ann is survived by four children; Timothy Nicholson, Tony Nicholson, Robert Nicholson, Danny and wife, Jamie Nicholson; ten grandchildren Marcus and wife Lauren, Corey and wife Katie, Brittney, Jazmin, Paula and husband Nathan, Kasey, Ashley, Cole, Harper, and Kendall; and eight great grandchildren, Addison “Addy,” Aubrey, Logan, Jade, Avery, Malena, Everly, and Korinne.

In accordance with Jo Ann’s wishes, she will be cremated. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Stauffer Funeral Home; 8 E Ridgeville Blvd, Mt Airy, MD, 21771.
