Mr. Jimmy D. Carroll, 75, of Clarksburg, MD went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Montgomery General Hospital. He was the loving husband of 54 years to Mary Frances Carroll.
He was the son of the late Tillmond Carroll and Gladys Roberts Carroll. Jim attended the Faith Fellowship Christian Center.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by three children, Michael (Lisa) Carroll, Troy (Sherry) Carroll, and Shelly (Joshua) Hartman; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sylvia Steelman, Sue Norris and Glennis Van Hoozier.
He was predeceased by siblings, Myrble Parkey, Bobbie Mathis, Letha Diehl, Reba Jean Carroll, and T.J. Carroll.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 27 from the funeral home chapel with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Officiating will be Jim's brother-in-law, the Rev. David Brown.
Interment will follow in Forest Oak Cemetery, Gaithersburg.
