Jessie Tolbert

Jessie Lee Tolbert, 26, of Inwood, West Virginia, passed from this life on Sunday, December 30, 2012.
Jessie was born on February 3, 1986 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was a 2004 graduate of Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland. He entered the United States Army in August of 2005 and served until 2008.
Jessie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his free-spirited nature, his love of cooking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and working with his hands.
He is survived by his mother, Jan A. Warner of Boonsboro, Maryland; two brothers, Jerry Tolbert, III of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Jackson Philipson and wife Danielle of Twentynine Palms, California; his maternal grandmother, Karen Warner of Hagerstown, Maryland; and his girlfriend, Teresa Fox of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Jessie was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clyde Warner, in 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Final resting place ceremonies will be planned for a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jessie may be sent payable to the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland, 21713. Funds will be used to offset the cost of services and will be donated to a local wounded warrior fund.
