Jerry Wayne Stull Sr.

Jerry Wayne Stull Sr, 75, of Mountaindale in Frederick died Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was the husband of Rose Stull. 

Born December 9, 1947 in Frederick County, he was the son of the late Woodrow W. Stull and Anna Bell (Hewitt) Stull 

Jerry worked for the Frederick County School Board from February 14, 1970 until his retirement in 1996.

Additionally, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Thurmont American Legion Post 168, and the Lewistown Social Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jerry Wayne Stull Jr.; brother, Kenneth (Ken) Stull and his significant other, Helen Smith; sister-in-law, Kay Stull and husband, Doody (predeceased); nephews, Mike and Bill; nieces, Gina, Helen and Angel; son-in-law, Jesse Kegley; grandsons, Mike and Aaron Kegley; granddaughters, Whitney and Sammie; two great-granddaughters; sister-in-law, JoAnn Shafer; and best friends, Wayne Harley and David Stull. 

He was predeceased by a daughter, Rose Anna (Stull) Kegley; twin brother, Gary Stull; brother, Dick Stull; and nephew, Eddie Stull.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. 

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim May officiating.

Interment will follow at Faith UCC Cemetery.
