Jerry Taylor Seabright, 77, of Rohrersville, Maryland passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at his home.
Born on January 26, 1939 in Washington, DC, he is the son of the late Lemuel and Dorothy (Welch) Seabright. He married the love of his life, the late Joan Marie (Culver) Seabright in 1959.
He graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1957.
Jerry worked as a printer for U.S. Department of Commerce. He retired after 35 years of service.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a member of Clopper-Michael Boonsboro American Legion Post 10, Hub City Model A Car Club, Antique Automobile Club of America - Mason Dixon Region, and the Boonsboro High School Athletic Boosters.
Jerry is survived by his children Jeffrey Seabright and his wife Christine, Joel Seabright and his wife Karen, James Seabright and his wife Julie, Jennifer Poling and her husband Clayton. Jerry's true legacy was his grandchildren; Jessica (Seabright) Lechert and husband Dave, Andrew Seabright and wife Erika, Edward Seabright and Fiancé Kendhl, Charles Seabright, Kimberly Seabright, Katrina Seabright, John Seabright, Nicholas Seabright, Elizabeth Seabright, Cynthia Poling, and John Poling. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland. Final resting place ceremonies will be held privately at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday March 17, 2016, at the funeral home.
