Jerry W. “Unk” Dorsey Sr., 66, of Frederick died on Sunday February 12, 2012 at Northampton Manor Nursing Home, Frederick.
Born on January 5, 1946 in Frederick he was the son of the late Frank Albert and Gladys Biggus Dorsey.
Surviving are two children; Jerry W. Dorsey Jr., and his wife Tammy of Frederick and Kimberley Ann Dorsey of Frederick. Grandchildren; Daryenne Dorsey, Kashana and Schakara Massenbury and Deandra Lewen. Sisters and brothers; Shirley Myers of Westminister, George W. Dorsey of Mt. Airy, Joan Weedon of Frederick, Dennis Eugene Dorsey and wife Glenda of New Market, David F. Dorsey and wife Jerriot of Frederick and sister in law Agnes Dorsey of Mt. Airy. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Frank Albert Dorsey Jr. and brother in law Douglas Deford Myers Sr.
Visitation will be held on from 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Homes P. A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where funeral services will be held on Saturday February 18, 2012 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery, Taylorsville, MD.
