Jennifer Marie Burns Barfield, 43, of Frederick, MD passed away suddenly on Friday, September 12, 2014 at her home.
Born on May 12, 1971 she is beloved daughter of Robert R. Burns and Diane M. Burns of Frederick, MD and the granddaughter of late Clifton "Nip" W. Burns and Mary C. Burns as well as late Charles E. Smith and surviving Mary H. Poland.
Jennifer was a 1989 graduate of Thomas Johnson High School and later went on to pursue a Nursing degree at Frederick Community College. Jennifer loved being a mom more than anything else and adored her children. She was so very proud of each of them. She also loved animals, especially her pets, which she owned many throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three children Dalton Alan Barfield; Alexis Marie Barfield both of Louisiana and Brenna Marie Day of Frederick; sister Julia Lynn Burns of Frederick. she will be fondly remembered by Tom Gasba, Lloyd. E. Ramey, Terry K. Mathers and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 6-9PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18 at 10 AM. Rev. Dr. Terri Driver-Bishop will officiate.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
