Jennieve Welty

Mrs. Jennieve Amelia Beall Welty, 89 of Frederick, MD., beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Citizens Care of Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Robert Mullican Welty.

Born June 17, 1921 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Fannie V. Shankle Beall.

Mrs. Welty was well known for her cake decorating.

She is survived by two daughters Bonnie R. Staley and husband David and Mary Lou West and husband Michael all of Frederick, five grandchildren Jennifer Hildebrand, Donald Waterman, Jr., Katlin Staley, Shelly Frye, and Deana Potter,  three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Louise Fox, Nancy Gross and husband Robert, William Beall, Ervin Beall and Donald Beall all of Frederick. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons Edward L. Welty and Robert L. Welty, her brothers Monroe and Delmar Beall and sister Betty Jane Wagner.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, October 4, from 5 - 7 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday, October 5, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sandi Rogers officiating.

Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
