Mr. Jeffrey Vaughn Pearsall, 49, of Frederick, Maryland went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, May 31, 2013 surrounded by family and friends at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
He was the much beloved husband of Sharon L. Turner Pearsall, wife of 19 years, and much beloved father of Sharon Elizabeth Comer Pearsall.
He was born on September 11, 1963, in Bethesda, Maryland. Jeff enjoyed fishing, playing games with family and friends, fixing the unfixable, and most of all helping anyone he could. For the past 15 years, Jeff has lived with congestive heart failure and for the last three years of his life he lived with an LVAD heart pump. However, that did not stop him from living his life to the fullest the best he could. He would share his story with others who needed an LVAD to comfort them and share what life is like with a heart pump. He visited the local fire station to share with them about his LVAD so the rescue teams could better understand treating someone with an LVAD pump. Jeff loved helping people and used his condition to help anyone he could.
Jeff worked as a medical assistant for Cardiovascular Specialists of Frederick. He loved helping the patients he served and using his condition to help them better understand their own condition and give them whatever comfort he could through sharing his story.
Jeff was and will always be well loved and missed by his loving family, friends and associates.
Jeff’s life will be celebrated in a memorial service on Saturday June 8th 2013, at Stauffer’s Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Visiting with the family will start at 2pm with the memorial service beginning at 3pm. Flowers are welcome or a donation to your favorite charity in Jeff’s name.
