Jeffrey Bill Lewis

It is with great heartache we announce the death of our brother, Jeffrey B. Lewis, 74, of Frederick, Maryland, who died on Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home.

Born March 8, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio, Jeffrey was the son of the late Lt. Col. William John Lewis and Irene Emily Lewis (nee Blinkman). He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jed Lewis, Sgt. John Lewis; his sister-in-law, Cliff Ann Lewis; niece, Jessica Lewis Lustine; and his favorite pal, Loki.

Jeffrey is survived by his beloved daughter, Elise Anirene Aasen of San Francisco, California; as well as sister, Judy M. Lewis; brother, Jim Lewis (Therese); brother, Jerry Lewis (Linda); sister, Jean Lewis-Antcliff; sister, Jan Elliott (Steve); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jeffrey was a 1967 graduate of Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Illinois. He studied pre-law at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and at Wilmar Community College, Wilmar, Minnesota. He's a graduate of the Ryan School of Finance and Insurance, Chicago, Illinois. He was a certified substance abuse counselor for Integrity House, Inc., Newark, New Jersey. Jeffrey was also finance manager at Lustine Toyota-Dodge, Woodbridge, Virginia; warehouse manager for Isogaon Construction, Co, Brooklyn, New York; and worked as a paint contractor.

Jeffrey was an avid golfer and enjoyed skiing, tennis, landscape painting, mystery novels, and the Vikings. Jeffrey, his humor and upbeat attitude, will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A private family memorial will be held in the Spring of 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jeffrey's memory to the charity of one's choice.
