Jeffrey Barry Hyman, 64, of Mount Airy, MD passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016. He was the husband of Christine Glenn Hyman

Jeffrey was born February 13, 1951 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Herbert Hyman and Rita (Surgil) Hyman of Baltimore.

He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard and is a lifetime member of the American Legion. On June 22, 1980 he married the love of his life, Christine Glenn, in Baltimore. Jeffrey started his own company in 1983, Lone Star Software; a company that is still successfully running to this day. He had a passion for music and learned to play many instruments. His true talent shined with the steel guitar, which he was well-known for. He enjoyed fishing, scuba-diving, smoking cigars, and riding his Kubota tractor.

In addition to his wife Christine and his mother Rita, he is survived by his four children, Amanda Leiter and husband Timothy, Ashley Hyman, Brad Hyman and wife Katherine and Mark Hyman and wife Samantha, grandsons, Noah and William, granddaughters Olivia and Charlotte, sisters, Dale Roth and Carol Erman and brothers Steven and Randy Hyman. There was nothing more important to Jeffrey than his family.

A celebration of life service will be held on his 65th birthday, Saturday, February 13 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD at 1:00 p.m. where the family will be present to receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Following the memorial service a reception will immediately follow at the funeral home.
