Mr. Jeffrey "Jeff" Edward Haug, 39, of Walkersville died at his home on Sunday, March 30, 2014 following an extended illness.
Born September 28, 1974 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Warren Edward and Elaine Ellis Haug of Walkersville.
Jeff was an avid Redskins fan. He also enjoyed fishing and weightlifting.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by two sisters, Jill Jarvis and husband, Timmy, and Lisa Snyder and husband, Frank; nine nieces and nephews, Leah, Michael, Lexie, Kaitlyn and Lucas Snyder; Brandon Haug; and Mason, Devin and Chaslyn Jarvis; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Norma Ellis, and Edward and Ruth Haug; and his favorite uncle, John Ellis.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, with his uncle, the Rev. Richard Ellis, officiating. Those attending services are asked to assemble by 1:50 p.m. in front of the FSK Chapel near the main entrance of the cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. of Frederick.
