Jeffrey Robert Elmer, age 29, of Ijamsville, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at his home.
Born January 28, 1987, in Woodbury, NJ, he was the son of Wayne and Linda Elmer.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother Eric, his girlfriend Adrienne Yuhas, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dog Murphy.
Jeff graduated from Glenelg High School in 2005 and went on to earn his bachelors at James Madison University 2009.
Jeff was a Business Analyst for Westat in Rockville, MD. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, and off-roading in his Jeep.
A memorial service for friends and family will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702, with the Rev. Tim May officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to honor Jeff's memory by naming an off-road trail, fishing area or an overlook within the George Washington National Forest in VA which Jeff loved.
