Miss Jeanette D. Caniford, 34 of Hagerstown, MD., died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at her mother's home in West Virginia.
She is survived by her special friend Frank Boward.
Born February 27, 1974 in Frederick, MD., she was the daughter of Patti Hawes Mumaw and husband Donald and the late Robert P. Caniford.
Jeannette was a Manager at Citi Mortgage. She was a member of the V.F.W Post #3522, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #71 and the Red Feather Tribe #59. She enjoyed collecting baskets and scrapbooking.
In addition to her mother and special friend she is survived by her twin sister Joanne Caniford Howe and husband Jonathan of Fairfield, PA., her niece and nephew Janel and Jarrett Howe of Fairfield, uncles Earl F. Caniford of Martinsburg, , Charles Caniford and wife Carol of Charles Town, Archie Caniford of Ranson, Donald Caniford of Charles Town, Kenneth Hawes and wife Cindy of Ranson and aunt Deborah Free and husband Charles of Brunswick. Many cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Patsy and Fletcher Dellinger and John Hawes, Sr and paternal grandparents Ethel and Earl Caniford and her uncle John Hawes, Jr.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD on Tuesday, June 3, from 2 - 4 and 7-9 p.m
Services: Funeral services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD on Wednesday, June 4, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. George Earle officiating. Interment Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick. Pallbearers will be Frank Boward, Ron Rutherford, Jim Joyce, Ronnie Lowe, Jerry Ebersole and Matt Domer.
