Jeanette King

On Monday, May 30, 2022, Jeanette Louise King, age 60, of Walkersville, MD, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born November 24, 1961 in Washington, DC, to the late Paul and Margaret Monday. She is survived by her loving husband, of 42, years, Rev. Vernon D. King, III; sons, Vernon D. King, IV and Kyle A. King. She was preceded in death by her son, Troy D. King. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Jordan, Khloe, Addison, Malena and Lowyn; sister, Margie Hammel (Mel); brothers, Paul Monday (Amy), and James Monday (Karleen). She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10 a.m. to noon at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

A celebration of Jeanette's life will begin at noon on Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Marc Swanner officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
