Jeanette Frances Coonley, 89, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, May 4, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Born on November 18, 1927, in Schenectady, New York, she was the daughter of Frank Herman Sittner and Julia Elizabeth (Kiggins) Sittner.
She was the wife of Kenneth E. Coonley, her husband of 67 years.
Jeanette was married to her husband, Kenneth on November 26, 1949. She graduated from New York State Teachers College and was employed by General Electric Company in Syracuse, New York prior to raising her family. She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Frederick.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter, Joyce and her husband Joseph, sons, Rob, Charlie and his wife Sandy and Danny.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Julie Nell Coonley.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
A celebration of Jeanette's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Rev. Dr. Michael O'Donnell will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
