Jean Stotler

Jean Elizabeth Stotler , 92, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Sterling Care South Mountain in Boonsboro.
Born on February 27, 1927, in Myersville, she was the daughter of the late Mead G. and Annie Mae (Dusing) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory C. Stotler.
Jean was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Clarence L. Stottler and his wife, April and James W. Stottler and his wife, Marlene, all of Myersville and Barbara Jean Mason and her husband, Richard, of Keedsyville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and sister-in-law, Lelia Smith of Maugansville.
Jean was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Catherine Miller, Daisy Lewis, Leona Lewis, Mabel Green, Delphine Mentzer, Almy Early, Charles Smith, Raymond Smith and Gerald Smith.
A celebration of Jean's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland. Rev. Regina R. Beard will officiate. Interment will be at Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
