Jean Shriner

Mrs. Jean Myers Shriner, 59, of Emmitsburg, MD, passed away Monday May 2, 2011 , at Gettysburg , Hospital. She was the wife of Bob Shriner.
Born on June 12, 1951 , she was the daughter of the late James Sr. and Helen Harbaugh Bentz.
She worked at Claire Frock in Thurmont, Mt. St. Mary ’s College, Emmitsburg, Roy Rogers Thurmont and Freeman Shoe Company, Emmitsburg.
She enjoyed her family and friends and most of all her grandchildren, and the time spent with them.
She was the last of her immediate family. She is also survived by her children, Rob Myers III and wife Sherry of Emmitsburg and Troy Myers of Damascus and friend Cindy Higgins of Damascus . Grandchildren, Bobby, Nicholas, Jayden, Austin and Carson Myers. Special friends, Sharon and Jim Shriner. She was the former wife of Robert L. Myers Jr. of Emmitsburg. She was preceded in death by her brother Bo Bentz.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 & 7-9pm on Wednesday May 4, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main , Thurmont, where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday May 5, 2011 . The Reverend Jon R. Greenstone will officiate. Interment will be in Keysville Union Cemetery .
