JEAN CRONE

Mrs. Jean P. Crone (nee Oland), 88, of Frederick, Maryland passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016. She was the wife of the late William E. Crone.
Born November 9, 1927 in Adamstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Charles and Mamie Grubb Oland.
Mrs. Crone attended the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, she was a talented singer and was a member of the choir. Mrs. Crone enjoyed gardening and was an avid bowler.
Mrs. Crone is survived by her children, Bethany J. Vandervoort of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, Patricia J. Goetz and husband Terry of Thurmont, Maryland, Charles Bruce Crone of Dallas, Texas, and William E. Crone II and wife Jennifer of Upperco, Maryland. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and sister Margaret Ann Oland of Frederick, Maryland. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her siblings Fern Day, Frederick Oland, Bruce Oland, Nell Miller, James Oland, Catherine Routzahn and June Best.
Services and internment are private.
