Jean Keiholtz

Mrs. Jean Keilholtz, 79 of Thurmont, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert Edward Keilholtz.
Born December 31, 1931 in Frederick County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Keefer and Marie Catherine Staley Cutsail.
Mrs. Keilholtz was a member of the Graceham Moravian Church where she served on various boards and woman’s fellowship. She was a member of the Bridge Clubs of Thurmont and Emmitsburg, the Thurmont Grange and the Eastern Star Plymouth Chapter 41. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and most of all playing cards.
She is survived by her children Robert E. Keilholtz, Jr and wife Pennie of Fairfield, Gwendolyn K. Frey and husband Charles and Michael C. Keilholtz both of Thurmont, seven grandchildren Susan Small and husband Shane, Jonathan Frey, Megan Keilholtz, Todd Frey, Gretchen Green and husband Brandon, Katelyn Keilholtz, and Ethan Long, great grandaughter Anabelle Small, two sisters Dorothy Misner and Marlene Clark. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She will also be remembered by her many friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters Katherine Miles and Mildred Golibart.
Memorial service will be held at the Graceham Moravian Church, 8231 Rocky Ridge Road, Thurmont, MD on Monday, February 21, at 11:00 am with Rev. Jeff Gehris officiating.
Interment at the convenience of the family.
