Jean Jones

Jean N. Jones 92, of Frederick, Maryland passed away on May 14, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living Community.  She was the wife of the late Claggett A. Jones.

Born on September 2, 1925 in Washington D.C. to the late John F. Nalley and Fanny P. Nalley. She was also preceded in death by her sister Katherine N. Kendall.
Jean began her career with IBM and left once she married her husband who was employed with IBM as well. Later, after having 3 children she went back to work for Montgomery County Public Schools where she retired July 1986.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Chandler and Husband Dale of Myersville, MD., Michael Jones and wife Laura of Winter Garden, Florida, Kristie Jones and husband James Dunkley of Middletown, MD.

Jean had 4 grandchildren, Ryan Chandler and wife Laura, Kelly Chandler, Hannah Jones and Ethan Jones.  She also had 2 great grandchildren Faith and Raelyn Chandler as well as nieces and nephews.

Jean's family meant the world to her as well as her many friends and neighbors over the years. Her greatest joy was doing for others.

There will be a private service and inurnment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
