Jean Eiker

Jean Frances Angleberger Eiker, 87, of Frederick passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017. She was the wife of the late Walter C. Eiker for 51 years until his death in 2003. She was also predeceased by her son the late Charles A. Eiker.

Born February 12, 1930 in Frederick, Jean was the daughter of the late G. Foster Angleberger and Grace Amelia Wachter Angleberger. She was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1948 and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas H. Angleberger and wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Elinor C. Eiker; three nieces; and four nephews.

In addition to her parents, husband, and son, she was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth Vail and brother-in-law, John Vail; brother-in-law, Edwin G.  Eiker; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Edith Eiker.

A graveside service will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Those attending should assemble by 11:15 a.m. at the FSK Chapel of the cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen Larsen of Calvary United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 West Second Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
