Jason Adam Smith, 36, of Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Monday, March 28, 2011 at his home.
Born on November 27, 1974 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Juanita (Deener) Smith of Boonsboro and the late Chester "Teddy" D. Smith.
Jason was a 1992 graduate of Boonsboro High School and was employed as a plumber with Van Sant Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in Mt. Airy, Maryland. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
In addition to his mother, Jason in survived by his brother, David W. Smith and his wife Gail of Williamsport, Maryland and his three sisters, Lou Ann Alvey, Kristy Lynn Bowers and Karen Sue Smith all of Boonsboro. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his fiancee' Sherry Minnick.
His brother, Rodney S. Smith, preceded him in death in 1978.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Brownsville, Maryland. Rev. Alan M. Smith will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date.
The family will recieve friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
