Jason Sebastian Barrett, 48, of Frederick, MD, returned to the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Washington Medical Center in Washington D.C.

Born October 13, 1969 in Washington D.C, to Barbara M. Barrett and the late Vincent DePaul Barrett, Jason is survived by his loving wife, Angela H. Barrett; his grandmother, Juanita Bateman, siblings Brian T. Barrett and Mandy K. Wilburn; and beloved nieces and nephews Declan, Ronan, Aoife, and Maggie, in addition to his countless friends, and noble caretakers.

Jason graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in New Jersey in 1988.  He later attended Temple University and Howard Community College.  He then began a career in customer service at Adams Burch and Citimortgage.

Jason was undoubtedly a saint among men, who saw the good in everyone he met, He was an active member of the congregation at Parkway Community Church, devout fan of the Washington Redskins and The Scorpions, and lover of all animals, especially his beloved cat Tigger, who preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 2:00 and 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.  A celebration of Jason’s life will take place on Friday July 27 at 11 am at Parkway Community Church, 5665 New Design Road in Frederick.  Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Frederick.
