Jarrel {Rell} Cortez Gray

Mr. Jarrel Rell Cortez Gray, 20 of Frederick, MD., died suddenly on Sunday, November 18, 2007.

Born March 27, 1987 in Frederick, MD., he was the son of Tanya Thomas and Jeffrey Gray.

Jarrel was a graduate of Frederick High School class of 2005. He was a member of Sharp St. United Methodist Church, a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed music and hanging with Dafellaz. He loved spending time with his brother and sisters.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Steven Reid and sisters Brooke Gray and Chynna Hawkins, maternal grandparents Anna Laurencine Thomas and Kenneth Brown, paternal grandparents Oliver and Mary Gray, maternal great great-grandfather Lawrence Thomas, Aunts Kelsey Brown, Kourtney Brown, Terry Graves and husband James, Sonya Hungerford and husband Robert, Uncles Troy Thomas and wife Mistie, Kenneth Brown, Jr., Kurt Brown, Kevin Brown and Peter Jones, Sr., special great great-aunt Joan Lyles. His girlfriend Kyris Randall and good friend Ryan Dorsey and he will also be remembered by Craig Hawkins.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Tuesday November 27, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m.

Services: Services will be held Wednesday November 28, at 11:00 a.m. from Lynfield Complex, 10142 Hansonville Rd. Frederick, with the Rev. Yolanda Gamble and George Hackey Jr. officiating.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Special friends and pallbearers Eduardo Alex Lugo, Daniel Lugo, Ricardo Russell, Justin Graves, Nicholas Macklin, Shatique Smith, Jerame DuVall, Jimmy Graves. Honorary bearers will be Kyris Randall and Sara Ismach.
