Janice M. Bowie Dotson, 60 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born October 30, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Bowie.
Janice was employed as a bus driver by Kindercare.
She loved Michael Jordan and was an avid basketball fan. She loved working with people, playing Bingo and scratch offs.
She is survived by Tina Dotson, Kimberly Pryor, Jerome Pryor, Ashley Dotson , 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren,1 sister Ruthann Diggs (Michael),1
aunt Dorothy Bowie (Paul), 1 great aunt Diane Jackson.
She was preceded in death by 2 grandmothers, 4 aunts, 2 uncles
Remembered by a very devoted cousin Linda Duckett, Friends Mary Lou Disney and Jenny Martin.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, January 10 from 10:00-11:00 AM.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00AM with Rev. Rex Bowens officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
