Janice Mae Linton

Janice Mae Linton, 82, of Knoxville, MD, passed from this life on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Frederick Health Hospital. Born on August 9, 1942, in Sandy Hook, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Joshua Fellers and Mary Loretta Fellers (Stevens). 

Janice worked in the food service industry at Todd Steel, Cindy Dee Diner and operator at Brookside Inn. She was a Life Time Member of the Fraternal Order of the Brunswick Eagles Club Aerie 1136. 

In Janice’s early days she enjoyed playing softball, fishing in Chincoteague and doing Ceramics. Coloring with colored pencils was also a favorite pastime.  She is survived by children, John Funk, Pamela Dixon and Dale Stocks, Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Gloria Mumaw and brother Charles R Fellers. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Linton, daughters Wanda C. Rife and Gale Y. Jackson, Brothers John L. Fellers and Harry L. Fellers, sisters Carol Ann Jackson and Mary Diane Shaff, Grandsons Kenny and John Redmond. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Homes1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick, MD. A celebration of Janice's life journey will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the funeral home. 

Pastor George Snyder will officiate. Interment will be at Brownsville Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Knoxville, MD following the service. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at StaufferFuneralHome.com.
