Mrs. Janette Taylor, 93, of Jefferson, MD, formerly of Middletown passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Northampton Manor. She was the wife of the late Burley Taylor.
Born on January 29, 1921 in Sneedsville, TN she was the daughter of the late Grant and Varnie Burk.
Janette was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to garden and enjoyed listening to religious music. Janette loved spending time with her family. She also loved all animals especially her cat Sue Sue.
She is survived by her three daughters Opal Harlow and husband Robert of Rockville, Barbara Arney of Jefferson and Janet Arnold and husband Andrew of Braddock Heights; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-granchildren and 14 great- great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Susan Taylor.
She is preceded in death by her two sons Donald Taylor and Grant Taylor and son-in-law Michael Strippey.
Services and interment will be private.
