Janet Lee Spurrier

Ms. Janet Lee Spurrier, 61 of Frederick, Maryland, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at her home.
Born November 28, 1947 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Frances Spurrier Ramsburg and husband Herbert Ramsburg of Harpers Ferry, WV and the late W.M. Ray Spurrier.
Janet served her Country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion Post #11. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her dogs.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her step-mother Lois Noffsinger Spurrier and numerous step-brothers and sisters. She will also be remembered by her special friends Rick Bairan, Gary and Judy Ledbetter, Vicky and Carlos Yanez, Doris and Pete Twenty and Bill and Fran Dorsey
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, August 17, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Services:
A service will be held on Monday, August 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with Pastor Barbara Bornemann officiating.
Interment will be private.
