Janet Louise Tooley

Janet Louise Tooley, 83, of Mt. Airy, Maryland. passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her home. She was born January 17, 1940 in Washington D.C.

She was the daughter of the late James and Julia (Fletcher) Craig.  

She was the wife of the late Edwin Randall Tooley.

Janet retired from Giant Food Inc. She was an avid Washington Redskins Fan and loved to work in her yard.  She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Donna Windsor and husband, Dave; Glen Blaszkiewicz and wife, Patty and Frank Blaszkiewicz; step-children Kenny and Debbie Tooley; grandchildren, Michele Smith and husband, Jeff, Danny Wilson, Karen Chen and husband, Steve, Willie Blaszkiewicz and wife, Megan and Amy Poe; great-grandchildren, Ella and Evelyn Smith, Harper, Eli and Madeleine Chen; numerous step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her sister Jean Gentile, step-daughter, Jackie Tooley and niece, Pat Lloyd.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00pm on January 20, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, MD 21771.
