Janet Morgan

Janet Mae Morgan, 77, of Keedysville, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her home.

Born on April 2, 1943, in Hecla, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Mitchell and Pearl R. Zellers. She is survived by her husband, Keith L. Morgan, of 54 years.

She was a 1961 graduate of Penns Valley High School. Janet was also a graduate of Central Pennsylvania Business School. She worked for 32 years in banking. Janet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Ebenezer United Brethren Church in Greencastle.

In addition to her husband, Keith, she is survived by her two sons, Lance L. Morgan and wife, Tina, of Boonsboro, and Michael T. Morgan and wife, Tracy, of Hagerstown; one sister, Lois M. Kinney and husband, Paul, and one brother, James L. Faust, both of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Bryce, Kiley, and Shayla.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2021  at St. James Brethren Church on Lappans Road, with Pastor David Grove officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Please wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Final resting place ceremonies will be held in Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
