Mrs. Janelle Reinitz, 79, of Frederick, MD., passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Leroy L. Reinitz.
Born September 14, 1932 in Opaloka, Alabama , she was the daughter of the late Woodfin B. and Nanny Pearl Jennins Cooksey.
Mrs. Reinitz was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and NCVA. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, baking, going to the beach and was an avid Redskins Fan.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children LuAnn Murphy and husband George of Wash., D.C. and JoAnn Schaening of Frederick, grandchildren George Murphy, IV, Bridget Murphy, Cailin Murphy, Jacob Schaening and Seamus Murphy and a niece Nancy Hilton. She will also be remembered by her son-in-law John Schaening. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Jeannette Hilton.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Wednesday, August 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Services will be held Thursday, August 9, at 11:00 am from the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1415 W. 7th Street, Frederick.
Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
