Jane S. Ahluwalia

Jane S. Ahluwalia, 84, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  

Born on April 11, 1939, in Mound, MN, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Hazel Evelyn (Bruhn) Zeman. 

Jane was an RN.  She really enjoyed wood working, writing short stories, fishing and loved the outdoors. Jane enjoyed learning about various religions and was a member of her church. 

She is survived by her sons David (married to Dawn) and Raj (married to Mareline) and grandchildren Heather, Devin, Richard and Maddison, and great- grandchildren Brantley, Briella, Jasper and Warren.  She is also survived by brother, Daniel Zeman and sister, Bonnie Zeman and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Janice Zeman and her brother Victor Zeman.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland, where a  celebration of Janes's life journey will take place at 3 pm. Interment will be private.
