Jane Elizabeth Frye, 81, of Knoxville, MD entered Heaven's gates on August 17, 2014 surrounded by family.
Born July 26, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Mildred C. Waters. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Owen D. Frye.
Mrs. Frye was a devoted mother and grandmother, known for her sparkle and shine and quick wit. She was a member of Brunswick Moose Lodge 660 Ladies Auxiliary and attended Millville Pentecostal Church in Millville, WV.
Mrs. Frye is survived by three sons David Himes and wife, Vicki, Brian Himes and wife, Kim all of Knoxville, MD and Doug Frye and wife, Angela of Frederick, MD. She was the loving grandmother of Amy Folden, Chaz Himes, Kris Himes, Melissa Himes, Whitney Furr and Anna Frye. She will be remembered fondly by 11 great grandchildren: Bryn, Blake and Brysee Folden; Bre, Bailey and Bryson Himes; Alyssa Himes, Emilie and Ava Schaffer; and Austin and Faith Himes. Mrs. Frye is also survived by sisters Golda LaRue and Mary Quigley as well as many loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Thursday, August 21 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 22 at 11:00AM with Rev. Mark Compton officiating.
Interment will be in Brownsville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
