Jamie James Joseph Pags Paglianete, Sr., 43 of Thurmont passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2008.
Born in Washington, DC on November 19, 1964, he was the son of the late Helen and Francis Paglianete. For many years Jamie worked for Goodyear as a service manager. But recently he was employed with Frederick County Public Schools as a driver of bus #561.
A free spirit, Pags loved the outdoors. He enjoyed the time he spent riding on his motorcycle, being out on his boat, or spending time at his lake house. He loved his Washington Redskins. For those who knew him, Jamie loved to laugh and spend times with his friends. But mostly he loved the time with his family especially his two kids, JJ and Summer.
Survivors include his two loving children, Summer and J.J. Paglianete, Jr. both of Thurmont; their Mom, Dawn Siedlecki of Thurmont; his sister, Diana Paglianete and husband Brendan Casey of Keedeysville; and his brother, Dominick Paglianete of Ohio.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 6th, 2008 at 11:00AM in the St Anthony Shrine Parish Church, St. Anthony Road, Emmitsburg, MD with Father John Lombardi officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens where serving as pallbearers will be: A.B., C.B., Weiss, Bobby, Small Paul and J.J.
