James {Porky} Richard Martin

James Porky Richard Martin, 62 of Thurmont, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born in Thurmont on December 23, 1945, he was the son of the late Hilda (Morningstar) and Clinton Bub Martin. Porky had been employed as a construction worker for W.F. Wilson in Ellicott City, MD.
Survivors include his two sisters; Jean Fogle and husband Frank, and Bev Little and husband Phillip all of Thurmont; also he is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A sister, Kathy Bradshaw preceded him in death.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 with Rev. Richard Broome officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery, where serving as pallbearers will be: Ed Schildt, Jr., Josh Kelley, Shane Little, Chris Schildt, Mike Bradshaw, and Brian Seiss.
