James {Jim} F. Grimes
March 10, 1953 — March 18, 2010
Mr. James Jim F. Grimes, 57, of Frederick, MD, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra Moberly Grimes, his wife of 38 years.
Born March 10, 1953 in Frederick, he was the son of Shirley Grimes Baker.
Mr. Grimes was part owner of Kenneth Grimes Masonry where he was an active brick layer. He loved spending time with his family, his dog Cinnamon, fishing, hunting and going to flea markets.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four children James Michael Grimes and wife Temple of Lake Linganore, Kenneth Charles Grimes and wife Crystal, Christina Louise Grimes and companion Gary Beall all of Frederick and Zachary Lynn Grimes and wife Jane of Walkersville, fifteen grandchildren, six sisters Susie James, Beverly Toms, Brenda Bare, Chrissy Fultz, Terri Young and Valerie Baker.
He will also be remembered by his special
brothers Mark Spalding, Frank Mercer, and Luke Bears.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Charles Toddi Grimes.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont, Monday, March 22, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Services: Interment will be private
