James {Jim} Underwood, Jr.
June 10, 1943 — August 15, 2008
Mr. James Jim Underwood Jr., 65, of Plant City, Florida, formerly of Frederick died on Friday August 15, at Montgomery Hospice Casey House, Rockville. He was the husband of Diane M. Underwood.
Born on June 10, 1943 in Frederick he was the son of James A. Underwood Sr. of Frederick and the late Ruby Underwood.
Mr. Underwood was a former City of Frederick Policeman and a Frederick County Deputy Sheriff, he worked part time during the 1970s at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick. He went on to own and operate Underwood's Concessions as well as being a Comedy State Hypnotist.
He was in the Masonic Order 3rd degree mason, a member of the Showman's Shrine Club of Riverview, FL, and the Blue Lodge of Gibsonton, FL.
Jim had a great zest for people and life and lived his life to the fullest.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are children James Buster Underwood III of Walkersville, Tracey, Ginger and Jody all of Frederick, Kimberly McDonald of Florida and Tim Staley of Frederick.Also survived by grandchildren. One brother Larry Underwood of Frederick.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday August 20 at 1:00pm. The Reverend Tim May will officiate. Interment will be in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville
