James "Jim" Tessier was born October 5, 1954 in Natick, Massachusetts. Jim and his siblings grew up in Wheaton, MD. He was the youngest of five children. He married Marcia Kashuba and was happily married for 33 years. They raised 2 children, Brian and Nicole. Jim worked as a transmission specialist for the last 25+ years. Jim loved to cook and to read history books. He had the biggest heart and enjoyed family get-togethers, especially around a bonfire. Jim battled lung cancer for 2 years with the help of his loving wife, family, and many doctors at CTCA in Philadelphia, PA. Jim passed away at FMH surrounded by friends and family. May his kind heart rest in peace. Jim is survived by his wife Marcia, son Brian Tessier and wife Jessica, granddaughter Estelle, daughter Nicole Griffith and husband Erik, parents Raymond and Josephine Crosby, siblings Bob and wife Rhonda, Sharon Eggleston and husband Bob, Debbie Hadley, Bill, and special brother Bob McCarthy and wife Nancy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and in laws. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
