James "Butch" Shores, Jr.

James Franklin Shores Jr. “Butch”, 69 of Lovettsville, Virginia died January 21st, 2021. He was born on October 19th, 1951 in Fredrick, MD to James F. Shores Sr. and Anna Mae Shores.
He attended Brunswick High School in Brunswick MD where he loved playing baseball, football, and basketball.
Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, and playing softball. He could often be found steaming crabs for family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Donna Shores, Stepmother Shirley Shores, children Jeremy Shores (Betsy), Sabrina McKimmey (Marty) and Joshua Shores (Becca). Eight grandchildren, Huntley and Kayla McKimmey, MacKenzie, Sadie and James Shores, Josalyn and Everleigh Shores, Parker Condron. Brothers Randy Shores (Lori), Jeff Shores and nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his Father James F. Shores Sr. and Mother Anna Mae Shores.
Due to the Maryland State COVID 19 Mandate the family will have a private gathering and service at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue Brunswick, MD 21716.
