James Welch

Mr. James W. Welch, 67, of Frederick, MD passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Karen Hahn-Welch.
Born January 1, 1950 he was the son of the late James O. and Isabella J. (Neri) Welch.
James loved his cats. He enjoyed attending car shows and drag strip car races. James loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Welch and fiance Ronald Miller of Frederick and Donna Jackson and husband Trevor of Middletown; grandchildren Jacob, Aiden, Carter and Camden; brother Dennis Welch and wife Carol of Jefferson; niece Teresa Burch; nephew Billy Welch.
He is preceded in death by his brother Detrich Welch and nephew Dennis Welch, Jr.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 11AM-12PM where a funeral service will begin at 12PM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
