James Webb

Mr. James Thomas Webb,57, of Boonsboro, MD passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Joyce Webb.

Born January 31, 1960 in Olney, MD he was the son of Hugh G. and Shirley L. (Grimes) Webb of Gaithersburg, MD.

James retired after 31 years, from the Department of Public Works and Transportation as a Foreman-Poolesville Depot. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. James also enjoyed traveling to the beach and riding his Harley. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and brother and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children Timothy Cameron of Smithsburg, MD, James and wife Jessi of Sharpsburg, MD, Tiffany Richard of Sykesville, MD and Crystal Tobrey and husband Gene of Hagerstown,step-children Melissa Lydard and William Grimes of Brunswick,MD, Robert Wentz and wife Lisa of Hagerstown, MD, Reina Reynolds and husband James of Boonsboro, MD; 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister Barbara Koeneke and husband Charles of Abingdon, MD and aunts Barbara Smith and Bonnie May and fiancé Nathan Haines and numerous cousins. He will also be remembered by his Uncle and best friend Billy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Webb Best.

The family will receive friends at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 4-7PM where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 11AM.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
