Mr. James Christopher Warner, 59, of Frederick, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 7, at his home.
Born February 25, 1964 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Wallace Edward Warner and Ann Elizabeth (Schindler) Warner.
Jim attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School and worked in the carpentry trade. He loved music and taught himself how to play guitar. He played in the band Steele Reign many years ago and enjoyed writing songs. He enjoyed fishing at his property in WV and learning about herbs and supplements. He was a devout Catholic with extensive knowledge of the religion with an abundance of faith. He was always great with kids and enjoyed teaching them how to play sports. He loved to watch football - especially the Redskins and the Ravens.
He is survived by brother Richard Warner (Diana) of Wytheville, VA, Thomas Warner (Diana), and Janice Dorcus (Andrew) all of Frederick, his nieces that he loved so much Monica (Brian) Lauer, Melissa (Jake) Crockett, Diana (Brandon) Cross, Emily (Joe) Frank, Lea Dorcus, Nicole Befano and nephews Jesse and David Mills, great nephews Konner Lauer and James Crockett and great nieces, Kaylie Lauer, Victoria and Ella Crockett, Elizabeth and Adelaide Frank. Also his friends Randy, Loretta and Rodney Keyser, Wes Steele and Father Keith Boisvert.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, with Father Keith Boisvert as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway (US Route 15 North). Contributions may be made in Jim’s honor to St. Katharine Drexel Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
