James Schmidt

James Conrad Schmidt , 62, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at his Residence.
Born on June 30, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Conrad and Frances (Norris) Schmidt.
He was a 1969 graduate of Dundalk High School. He also was a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus.
He worked as a truck driver a was an ASE certified auto mechanic. In his free time, James loved motorcycles and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole (Elias) Schmidt of Boonsboro, Maryland; one daughter Ana Marie Schmidt of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; one son, Eric Elias of Boonsboro, Maryland,; his sister-in-law, Natasha Rosenbusch; sister Deborah Fraser and husband, Donn of Frederick, Maryland; brother Timothy Schmidt of Frederick, Maryland; nieces Michelle Lee Fraser, Kimberly Dawn Fraser, Jessica Schmidt, and Vallerie Schmidt; and by two nephews Dane Rosenbusch, and Timothy Schmidt, Jr..
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Rick Santos.
