James "Jimmy" R. Schattenberg , 54, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick.
Born on August 16, 1963, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Donald B. "Schatt" and Evelyn V. "Sis" (Kemp) Schattenberg.
He is survived by two brothers, Ron Schattenberg and wife, Pat, of Walkersville and Don "Schatt" Schattenberg and wife, Denise, of Adamstown; seven nieces and nephews; and his loving family at Community Living in Frederick.
A celebration of Jimmy's life journey will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
