James Nogle

Mr. James K. Nogle, 68, of Thurmont, MD, passed away on July 20, 2010. Born in Frederick on Dec 12, 1941, he was the son of the late Morris Ray and Lillian Amabel (Harbaugh) Nogle.
After earning his degree from Frostburg State Teacher’s College, he entered the field of purchasing where he remained for most of his career. He continued employment during his semi-retirement years as a driver for Kewl Tours and Fredrick County Public Schools, an occupation which brought him much pleasure from all of the interesting places and people he experienced.
Jim was an avid adventure lover who enjoyed his leisure time snow skiing, roller-blading and swimming, recently adding white water rafting and cliff diving to his list of accomplishments. He was a great enthusiast of both cars and music, enjoying Sunday afternoons either in Penn Mar Park or the Mason-Dixon Dragway. He was a very proud father and loved his family. He also cared deeply for his pets and wildlife.
He is survived by his three children, sons Michael Joseph Nogle and John Robert Nogle, of Chambersburg PA and Fayetteville PA, respectively and his daughter, Lisa Marie Nogle, of Birdsboro, PA, seven beloved grandchildren, and a sister, Donna Raye Nogle, of Fredrick.

Graveside service will be held at the Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont, MD on Thursday, July 29, at 10:00 a. m., with Rev. Les Sims officiating.
