James Kimmel

James Simpson Kimmel, 69, of Montgomery Village, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland.
Born on December 22, 1943, in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Earl Simpson and Margaret Theresa (Nau) Kimmel.
He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for over 40 years.
James was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Kimmel of Boonsboro, Maryland, and Cathy Forloines of Glen Burnie, Maryland; three grandchildren, Brittany Thurston, Abigail Forloines, and Tobias Hedman-Kimmel; and one brother, Gary Kimmel of Potomac, Maryland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Kimmel.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
