James Grimes, III

Mr. James “Jimmy” Edgar Grimes, III, went to be with the Lord on Friday April 27, 2012.

Jimmy was born November 14, 1986 in Frederick, Maryland. He was the most loving, passionate, and wonderful son any parent could have. We were blessed to have him and will miss the gigantic hugs he gave, with his laughter that could fill a room. He attended Scott Key Center, and graduated from both Rock Creek, and the Success Program. He was employed at the Scott Key Center.

He is survived by his mother Debbie Combs and stepfather Lynn, his father Hank Grimes and wife Lori Hash, and sister-in-law Kaci, his brother Michael Grimes and wife Nikki, stepsister Lindsey Combs, stepbrother Eric Combs, niece Hailie Grimes and nephew Gage Lowe, his grandmother Sonjia Wolfe and several aunts and uncles. Jimmy is preceded in death by his Pappy James E. Grimes, Jr., Mom-mom and Pop-pop Leonard and Dorothy Hornick and Granny Combs.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont on Tuesday, May 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where services will be held Wednesday, May 2, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Morgan officiating.

Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Horner, Hank Grimes, Michael Grimes, Lynn Combs, Tank and Jerry Fry.
